TIMOTHY E. KINSEY received his Bachelor's degree from California State University Long Beach and his Juris Doctor degree from Southwestern University School of Law. Before obtaining his law degree, he was a law clerk with the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office. He has been a member of the California State Bar since 1991 and has practiced workers' compensation defense since 1992. He currently handles workers' compensation, as well as longshore and harbor workers' claims and safety officer disability retirement claims. He is a frequent lecturer on workers' compensation issues to include safety officer disability retirements and presumptions. Mr. Kinsey is certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization as a Certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation law. He is the Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer for the firm and manager of our Orange County office.
