L. LEBOVITZ received his Bachelor's degree from
California State University Northridge and his Juris Doctor
degree from the University of San Fernando Valley College of
Law. While in college he was a civilian employee of the Los
Angeles Police Department. Prior to joining the firm, he was
associated with an applicant's firm which represented a
large number of public safety employees in workers'
compensation and disability retirement matters. Mr. Lebovitz
is the legal advisor to the Council of Self-Insured Public
Agencies (COSIPA). He is certified by the State Bar of
California Board of Legal Specialization as a Certified
Specialist in Workers' Compensation law.
